  1. I myself am Puyallup, Muckleshoot and Nooksack from Washington state. However, in addition to that, on my maternal side I am Mexican, with roots in Oaxaca and even a bit of Chinese thrown in. On my paternal side I am Creole and would love to trace that back as far as it can go. There was also mention of potentially some German and Filipino as well. There is a lot that comprises who I am and my family. My Father loves to tell me about our history. I even accompanied him in our area to several cemeteries, so that he would be able to draw correlations between relatives and my absolute favorite part, the stories he shares. If I were able to touch base in several or even one area of the world in connection to my familial line, there would be no greater gift.

  2. I have ancestors from Sicily that I have been dying to get a chance to know. My grandfather has about 8 siblings who live there who have a huge family that I want to be involved in. The problem is, my grandpa has passed away, and my father has no idea where they are. So I asked my grandmother and she told me Sicily! I would be a great choice for this because me and my boyfriend have traveling and learning about different cultures in our soul. It would be the absolute dream to be able to see the world in a different way then I do now and to learn all about me and his past ancestors! Thank you for this opportunity.
