Groups of 10 or more who volunteer at least two hours in the local community can stay for free at a participating Hostelling International USA hostel in January and February 2014 – up to five free nights’ stay per group. The program aims both to encourage volunteerism and reward volunteers who might not be otherwise be able to afford to travel.
Participating IH-USA hostels include Austin, Boston, Baltimore, Chicago, New York City, Philadelphia, Portland, San Francisco, Santa Cruz, Los Angeles, San Diego, Washington D.C. and more.
