#SummerofFestivals is back and bigger than ever. This year, Generator Hostels are recruiting one very lucky person to be their “Summer of Festivals Reporter”:
Do you love festivals? Are you a photography, video and creative writing fanatic? If this sounds right up your street, then you could win the chance to be our festival eyes and ears, documenting your experience, taking amazing photos and telling Gen followers all about it. We’ll be sending you and a friend off fully equipped with all the festival essentials for the ultimate summer of fun
What will I do?
- Attend six European music festivals this summer between June and September
- Create imagery and video for Generator’s website
- Write a review of each festival for the Generator blog (must be in English)
- Send live tweets and Instagram updates during each festival for our followers (must be in English)
What makes me perfect for the job?
- You will know how to work a camera and take amazing photos
- You will need to be able to write about your experience
- You will need to know how to work a GoPro
- You live and breathe fun experiences and good times
What do I get?
- Six sets of festival tickets
- Travel for you and a friend
- Accommodation / Camping Equipment
- £200 spending per festival to cover food, drink and other fun stuff
- Camera
- GoPro
*Please note all European travel will be covered up to £4,000 in total.

To enter all you need to do is post on your favorite social media channel and tell us why you think you should win. This can be either be on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Google+ or your blog & can include, video, imagery or text. The most original post will win!
