Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park: Worldwide artists, writers, musicians and performance artists invited to apply for NPS Arts Residency, February 2-28, 2024. Includes 3BR housing, $4000 stipend, Kurzweil baby grand piano, recording studio, meditation area and art studio conversion with panoramic views of the ocean. “Watch pods of whales migrate while you create your art.” Open to solo artists, couples and families. $60 app fee; deadline to apply: March 15, 2023 via Submittable.

Berkshires, Massachusetts: Five Writers (poetry, fiction, non-fiction, translation, playwriting, comics) will be awarded 3-week residencies from July 1-22, 2023 at Herman Melville’s Arrowhead. The studios are rustic and open air; each one is the architectural interpretation of the original structure from which one of five American Renaissance authors wrote while in the Berkshires. Residents receive to/from travel reimbursement, full room + board within walking distance of the studios, which includes a private room in a small dormitory building shared with four other residents, plus meals. Residents will also have a shared common room with a refrigerator and microwave, and access to campus amenities. Seasonal artists from other local organizations also stay on campus during the summer—an exciting interdisciplinary mix.” Free to apply by March 15, 2023 via Submittable.

Leavenworth, Washington: International Artists, 18+, invited to apply for 4- to 6-week Residencies in 2023 at Grunewald Guild. “Our residency program is volunteer-based, and we provide artists with lodging, meals (with our programming), staple foods (non-program times) + studio space at no cost in exchange for 15-20 hours of volunteer service.” Applications accepted on a rolling basis.

Writer’s Colony at Dairy Hollow, Eureka Springs, Arkansas: Applications invited for one-week Fellowships to be awarded to 2 Writers who are also parents of dependent children under 18. “Work may be any literary genre: poetry, fiction, plays, memoir, screenplays or nonfiction.  The successful application will demonstrate literary merit and the likelihood of publication. Prior publication is not a requirement. One Fellowship to be awarded to Person of Color. $500 stipend to cover childcare and/or travel costs. Each writer’s suite has a bedroom, private bathroom, separate writing space + wifi. We provide uninterrupted writing time, European-style gourmet dinner prepared 5 nights a week in our community dining room, the camaraderie of other professional writers when you want it + a community kitchen stocked with the basics for other meals.” $35 app fee; deadline to apply April 10, 2023.

London, UK: FT Traveling Family Assistant, fluent in English (German appreciated) wanted for UHNW family, based at home office in Europe. 1-month renewable contract. “Many trips to be expected.”

US + Europe: Travel-Ready Nanny wanted for 8-month international trip, April to mid-November 2023, with “vibrant family of 3” (18mo toddler) based in Los Angeles.

Glacier View, Alaska: 2023 Summer Seasonal Staff wanted by Sheep Mountain Lodge. All staff get free helicopter flights and ATV tours! Salary + free housing + utilities and food packages are available for $150 per month.
