Free Entrance Days in U.S. National Parks for 2014

Mark your calendar for these fee-free days at National Parks in 2014:

  • January 20 (Monday)
    Martin Luther King Jr. Day
  • February 15-17  (Saturday-Monday)
    Presidents Day weekend
  • April 19-20 (Saturday-Sunday)
    opening weekend of National Park Week
  • August 25 (Monday)
    National Park Service Birthday
  • September 27 (Saturday)
    National Public Lands Day
  • November 11 (Tuesday)
    Veterans Day

If you’re planning a trip that includes multiple national parks, you might consider the $80 annual pass or $20 lifetime senior pass (62+, by mail) that provides entrance to all national parks, national wildlife refuges, national forests and other Federal lands – more than 2,000 in all.

The America the Beautiful National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass is offered free to all active duty military members and their dependents.
