Pura Vida Hub Bucharest launching a call for innovative projects with 10 awards, ranging from a one-month hub membership to a three-month hub membership, plus accommodation in its hostel in the old town of Bucharest, Romania. The call is solely addressed to start-ups ran by foreign entrepreneurs and is open to a wide range of projects, from technological to social and artistic.

Having an office a Pura Vida Hub means you’re going to exchange ideas with some amazing success stories like Laurențiu Ion, the founder of Intersect, an app that helps you connect with people you spotted random in places just by having with your phone in your pocket, available on Google Play, fashion designer Lana Dumitru or Silvia Cazacu, founder of Ilumart, a professional light design company. “We enhance our enthusiasm surrounded by wonderful people who are following their dreams, in a multidisciplinary setting, facilitated by Pura Vida. We can share experiences, thoughts and concerns in the idea of developing good projects and creating new better ones. All these, while enjoying a tasteful tea in a bohemian setting, just in the Old Center of Bucharest: a step forward in expanding our creativity!” Silvia Cazacu, Hub member.

Pura Vida Hub Bucharest is the only platform in Romania that actively promotes co-working and co-living between both foreign and Romanian entrepreneurs. With memberships ranging from 5 to 100 euro, members benefit from a shared work space, a tea house for meetings, access to events and various discounts in its other affiliated locations.  Members can enjoy the New York-style Pura Vida Sky Bar that’s just a stroll away from the Hub or just walk down the stairs to the Old Town that turns, in the warm season, into one big terrace.

Pura Vida Hub is part of Pura Vida Romania, the first independent hostels network in Romania, each with a unique spirit surrounded by a community living la Pura Vida. Some of the hostel locations include Brașov, close to one of Romania’s main attraction, Castelul Bran, Dracula’s Castle, Cluj Napoca, the place to visit for a true Transylvania experience and Vama Veche, a hippie sea side resort. So after you finish your free membership and feel like traveling around Romania you know where to go.

“Our goal is to contribute to the mobility of entrepreneurs and also promote Bucharest’s great assets” said Tudor Maxim, Pura Vida Romania’s Founder. “Not many people know that Romania has 9 out of 15 cities in the world with the fastest Internet.  We are also one of the most talented nations for technical and creative skills. Our country is also one the most affordable places to live in Europe and we have been highly recommended to visit by Lonely Planet, CNN, National Geographic and many others. Pura Vida Hub Bucharest is a great destination for the ‘co-working, co-living’ community.”

Deadline for applications is April 10, 2016; start of project is May 1, 2016.
